Who We Serve

ISP programs are designed specifically for men and women in recovery from homelessness and addiction. It is particularly well-suited for those in recovery who are living in transitional or group housing programs, including: recovery homes, transitional housing programs, 30/60/90-day treatment facilities, short and long-term affordable housing, group-based and independent supportive housing, prison reentry programs, and emergency shelters.

Because of the need for a minimum level of housing stability and a place to return upon completion of the retreat, ISP does not work with individuals who are unsheltered, i.e. “living on the street.” ISP participants are generally 3+ months sober, i.e. abstinent from alcohol and illegal substances. Individuals in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) are welcomed on a case-by-case basis.

ISP teams rely on relationships with case managers/social workers at partner agencies in each of our affiliates to refer appropriate candidates for our programs.
