Interested in attending an ISP program? Visit your city’s website where you’ll find contact information.

Interested in volunteering with us?  We’re thrilled you’d like to be a part of our community! In each affiliate, our volunteers directly deliver our retreat and reflection programs: they are the heart and hands of our organization.  ISP is a relational ministry of accompaniment and companionship. Volunteers are invited to share their own story while companioning people in recovery from addiction and homelessness.

We have a variety of service opportunities: everything from driving participants to and from retreat centers to leading ongoing spiritual reflections at partner agencies and facilitating overnight retreats. With the support of ISP staff, volunteers have the opportunity to engage in the broader mission of ISP in their local community.

To join an ISP affiliate team as a volunteer, please fill out a volunteer application below. We will promptly forward your application to the volunteer coordinator in your city who will be in touch with you directly.

Don’t see an ISP program near you?

Perhaps you are curious about how to begin a new ISP program in your area.

ISP offers two ways of partnering with us:

  • City Affiliates are a group of committed volunteers who join together to offer ISP retreats and programs in their city. City Affiliates operate under our non-profit designation and receive program, pastoral, and administrative support from the ISP Network office, including fundraising assistance.
  • Institutional Affiliates are established organizations (e.g. retreat houses, parishes, religious communities) that partner with us to offer ISP retreats and programs as part of their mission. Institutional Affiliates sign an annual sponsorship agreement with ISP Network for use of our retreat model and receive comprehensive program and formation support.

To inquire about bringing ISP to your community, contact Matt Meyers, Director of Programs, at mmeyers@ispretreats.org. We look forward to hearing from you!

When I came back from the retreat, I had the ability now to pray to a Higher Power, which really relieved my soul.  I know that somebody loves me, my God loves me…The retreat made a big difference to me because I wasn’t as angry as I had been. I learned to accept things better. I was firmly rooted into something.”
