  • Dear New Volunteer Applicant,

    On behalf of everyone at the Ignatian Spirituality Project, thank you for your interest in this special ministry. We look forward to welcoming you as a member of an exciting and growing movement with 750+ volunteers and 29 cities across the country.

    As a volunteer, your dedicated service will allow ISP to make a substantial contribution in the lives of those who need hope the most. ISP has a small staff but is privileged to have a large body of volunteers to help fulfill our mission.

    There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available that offer flexible schedules to fit busy lifestyles. We hope that you will find volunteering with ISP a positive and rewarding experience.

    Your local ISP Team Coordinator will be in touch with you shortly after completing this form to discuss your interest in volunteering with ISP and discern membership with the local team. Following acceptance, you will receive the ISP Volunteer Handbook by email and a link to our online New Volunteer Training program. Please note, if you are applying to be a Retreat/Program Facilitator, this training must be completed prior to engaging in any direct-service opportunities with ISP.

    Feel free to contact the ISP Director of Programs or your local Team Coordinator for additional information.

    Once again, thank you for choosing the Ignatian Spirituality Project.

    Lord, teach me to be generous.
    Teach me to serve you as you deserve;
    to give and not to count the cost,
    to fight and not to heed the wounds,
    to toil and not to seek for rest,
    to labor and not to ask for reward,
    save that of knowing that I do your will.
    ~St. Ignatius Loyola
